PPC - LA vs Gamba Osaka - Quick Update

Well I just finished watching the Galaxy look horrible against their J-League opponent in a 1-0 loss. Granted both Landon Donovan and Carlos Ruiz didn't play, but it could be bad for Los Angeles this season. Gamba Osaka won this game in the 4th minute with a nice shot a few feet inside the left side of the box.

The Galaxy are going to be desperate this season as they will need quality production from inexperienced rookies. This was only a pre-season setup, without a full roster for either squad, but the Galaxy looked lost and Beckham looked frustrated. He delivered some beautiful balls to center field that fell at feet unable to take advantage. It was really quite a boring game, despite a few fun plays by the Japanese side.

In 15 minutes Houston will be up against what I've heard to be a Juninho-less Sydney FC team. Hopefully the Dynamo can pull it off to avoid a Oceania sweep, but with a 12:30 am start time I'll wait to find out in the morning.
