It has never been more clear...

For the very first time I had the oppurtunity to watch RSL play in HD Thursday night against Colorado. It has never been more clear that we can't play on the road...or in the final third. While the first half wasn't horrible, it wasn't pretty either. The second half was all Colorado.

- Mantilla was absolute garbage. His marking was off, he passing was lazy, and his handball sealed our fate. It'll be very sad if he is starting on the back line against Dallas on the 24th. He also shanked that wide open header.

- Cutler failed to impress. He was tentative and his passing was backwards more often than forward. When he did push forward Colorado was more often the benefactor.

- Dr. Deuchar is not doing what he was brought in to do. I understand we aren't using him like maybe we should, but he is not scoring the scrappy goals that were promised. In fact he is missing quite a bit of scrappy goal opportunities fairly easy situations.

- My hate for Pablo Mastroeni has not changed.

- Beckerman is a stud and a work horse. I don't know what we'd do without him.

- Rimando is a good keeper who bails out the defense more often than they deserve. Without him every game would be ugly.

- Are we going to lose home field advantage when Sandy Stadium is built and we have to play on a wide grass field? Someone needs to remind those guys that soccer is played on wide grass fields.

- Why wait until we are 2 down to sub in Cordoba for Williams? The need for the change was obvious and should have been done in the 70th minute with Findley.

- Javi and Sturgis need to get healthy quickly.

- MLS refs still suck. I'm not complaining about their role in the outcome...that is all on RSL. I just think it should be noted that they suck.

...and that is crystal clear.
