Despite a weakened opponent it was fun to watch RSL play some decent footy on Saturday. I was ready to give up on the team all together after Javi’s botched free kick attempt, mostly because of the play after the miss, but the team really responded in the second half. A few things…
- I don’t know what to think about the Good Doctor. Yes, he gets his chances, but those chances aren’t going in. He is a presence, but it isn’t really translating into points on the scoreboard or on the season W/L tally. Would an Espy/ Findley duo work? I really want Kenny to succeed here, but he needs to start producing.
- Was Robbie having a rare night or was he over the slump? If it is the latter we could be in for a treat, but as has been mentioned all over the Big Soccer forums this guy has no first touch. I do have to say I found his give and go with Morales just as impressive as his goal.
- It is a good thing that the west is horrid because we really still aren’t out for the count just yet. Only four points behind the first place team in the west and still only 9 points behind the league leader still keeps our playoff hopes alive. Another beating on the road and those hopes will quickly become necrotic.
- A win is a win…let’s enjoy it, but beating KC on Saturday would make having some faith a bit more possible.

That give and go between Morales and Findley was one of the best RSL goals of all time. Simply a beautiful one touch pass from Robbie back to Morales and a great finish. Simply a beautiful goal.
Hi everyone,
It's not intrusion but an humble request to the community here.
I have recently started an articles website and would request you (I will appreciate if you can) to please spare some time and post articles about soccer at my site.
Thanks
